The role supports multiple distribution channels (retail, bancassurance and direct), and within multiple regulatory environments.

Duties:
* Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged in the process of product development across the Centre of Excellence and local markets
* Monitoring the product development pipeline for Retirement Products for specific product lines
* Production of research papers on new product lines, product line trends, etc
* Undertake competitor analysis in all markets and gain detailed understanding of competitor products in all Local markets
* Gain a good understanding of specific retirement product line related regulatory issues within all local markets
* Review product specifications and provide guidance in the sign-off of product specifications

This role will develop the strategy and processes to centrally drive and control day to day pricing changes. The role will be responsible for leading the pricing interface between each local market and the pricing centre of excellence.

It will involve leading pricing change proposals in each of the markets as well as responding to pricing request changes from each local market and supporting the local product team with pricing changes.

Experience:
* Strong commercial and strategic awareness with senior management experience in a pricing role
* Knowledge of European markets or a desire to build this knowledge rapidly
* Extensive understanding of GI pricing at both operational and strategic levels
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
* Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels and across different markets and functions. This is a key competency for this role in order to drive the successful implementation of price changes across multiple markets.

The Pricing Actuary will be responsible for ensuring that pricing is being carried out consistently across the business lines and to a high standard. This will be achieved by active involvement in the derivation of the bases in each of the product lines. In addition you will manage a small team.

You will need strong analytical skills, combined with sound judgement and commercial awareness. Previous protection pricing experience is essential. You are likely to be nearly or fairly recently qualified.

You will have 3-6 years experience in data analytics or data mining and the ability to manage and deliver complex solutions in a practical way, as well as the ability or potential to consult at the highest level. Migration of fund administration for existing internal funds from a spreadsheet based system to our fund administration system
Setting up of new funds on the system
Where necessary work with the system provider to develop and meet business requirements
Provide support to the fund administration team for the funds which have already been migrated to the system.
Assisting in the calculations required for fund suspensions, closures and other corporate actions
Provide actuarial support and guidance in the management of funds offering investment guarantees and protection
