As Basis Actuary at this major Life insurer, key responsibilities will include:
• Setting financial reporting bases
• Carrying out robust investigations of operating experience
• Applying judgement in determining plausible future assumptions
• You will bring into the team the various stochastic assumptions which are currently set elsewhere in Finance
• Clear communication at board level of your conclusions and thought process, highlighting key areas
• Management of junior staff
You will be qualified, or nearly qualified. The role will provide the opportunity to specialise in sectors of interest.
