Newly created, business critical role with long established Insurer to bolster actuarial processes and systems in order to accommodate the future requirements of both the Sri Lankan regulatory bodies and IFRS.
You will work closely with the General Manager Actuarial to develop leadership capability and business acumen and ultimately advise on improvement strategy and technical competency enhancements as well as help train the local staff in best practice on technical competency and business orientation
Most likely, you will be a qualified actuary / manager with a proven track record of successfully working with life company management, good communication, presentation and general managerial skills
From a technical perspective, you should be able to display a good understanding of Prophet modelling for GPV and IFRS as well as review and set up the valuation model for new regulatory requirements.
