Budding CRO required with an appetite and drive to grow with the business. Our client’s European business is dynamic, growing and empowering. This role has overall responsibility for the Risk Management and Compliance function across the company. These responsibilities include:
1) Overseeing Risk Management including ongoing review, enhancement and implementation of the Risk Management Framework and Risk Management Strategy, including the identification, analysis, management and reporting of risk matters.
2) Facilitating Board review and updates to the formal Risk Appetite Statement and monitoring compliance of risk policies against that statement.
3) Providing specific risk management support to Department Heads (the Risk Coordinators) in dealing with risk incidents and risk mitigation efforts, including education, training, development and risk identification processes.
4) Establishing strategic direction on, and providing oversight with respect to, the design, management and maintenance of the compliance program with respect to both compliance policies and processes (e.g. due diligence).
5) Embedding solvency II requirements by the promotion of a culture of effective compliance and risk management within the business.
6) Reporting and presentation to senior management, Board, and Board Committees as and when required.
7) Managing overall risk assessment, analysis and reporting processes.
