Newly created role has arisen with Reinsurer to work as No.2 to the Appointed Actuary assisting with all aspects of valuation / reserving work, assisting with the LAGIC requirements and monitoring of the outstanding claims and premiums liabilities as well as dealing with local, regional and head office stakeholders.
Requirements:
•FIAA or similar is essential
•Approx 10 years hands-on experience in actuarial General Insurance area is essential with over five years post qualification experience preferred
•Familiarity with a range of and classes and business lines is essential and familiarity with reinsurance arrangements is preferred
•Strong spreadsheet skills are essential and a familiarity with a range of other actuarial software is preferred.
