Based in the APAC Actuarial modelling and Client Services team, you will make significant technical and managerial contribution to our client’s internal high profile software development projects.

Your responsibilities will consist of:

• Leading the Client Services and actuarial modelling team
• Ensuring that client support activities are delivered in accordance with SLA’s
• Mentoring actuarial students through to qualification
• Development of actuarial/financial models and requirement engineering,
• Preparation of documentation and reports associated with actuarial/financial models and application development.
• Provide industry experience to drive requirements and priorities
• Provide technical Actuarial/financial modelling support throughout client implementation engagements.
• Provide ongoing service support as required, to key MoSes, RiskAgilityEC, and RiskAgilityMoSes clients.
• Support of the system and product testing functions.
• Compliance with all Company policies and procedures

With a clear focus on timely delivery and quality, you should be able to see the “big picture” and ensure project plans are properly executed and the quality assurance process is followed. You are a problem solver and are expected to identify risks and resolve issues, as well as escalate them as appropriate.

You will report regularly to senior management in the UK and US and work closely with colleagues from a wide range of business disciplines. Therefore excellent communication is essential as you are expected to discuss complex technical concepts, both actuarial and IT, to senior management and developers alike.
