Senior Student/Nearly Qualified Actuarial Analyst Life

Senior Student/Nearly Qualified Actuarial Analyst Life required for a leading reinsurance company. This role focuses on researching and pricing a wide variety of protection products and to understand maintain and develop their existing core pricing programs and bases.

Responsibilities:

• To write documentation to support pricing research and recommendations.
• Reports should meet departmental standards and ensure that senior
Management are informed about the relevant risks.
• Understand, maintain and develop our existing core pricing programs and bases.
• To research the effect of medical trends and developments on the design and price of health and protection products.
• Co-ordinating and carrying out mortality, morbidity and lapse experience investigations on enforce treaty business, reporting on findings and recommending any changes required to treaty terms and conditions.
• Reviewing and checking the work of other members of the Actuarial Pricing department for accuracy, correct methodology and overall reasonableness.
• Sign off on treaty rates calculations for quotations in line with the department procedure notes as updated from time to time.

You will need to be a Senior Student making excellent progress towards your FIA, you will have full study support. Good Access and MoSes/Prophet skills would be an advantage but not essential.
