Fast growing niche market insurer is at the next stage of their development which will require an additional actuary to join their team.
The role involves all aspects of pricing / product development, looking at new distribution channels and potential distribution partnerships in Australia as well as Asia amongst other projects.
From a technical aspect, you will have a sound understanding of general insurance technical work including pricing and modelling. This role requires you to use significant commercial judgment on a regular basis.
From a personal skills aspect, you MUST have a switched on, can-do attitude and display proven business communication skills as you will work closely with CEO, CFO and board members.
Project management experience useful as well.
This is an unusual and exciting role which interfaces closely with the business so you can develop not just actuarial skills but also business communication skills.
The client is looking to identify people quickly so that they can join by the end of June 2012 when the next growth stage becomes active.
