Our client, a London based insurer is currently looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their ever expanding team based in the city of London. The successful candidate will support the enhancement of the pricing processes performed by the actuarial products teams and the delivery of the annual plan for pricing reviews. The role will also assist in producing the first cut of the reserving work which will be overseen by the corporate actuaries.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mathematics/Actuarial Science
• Usually a nearly or newly qualified member of an Actuarial Institute
• Will typically have an extensive experience in the insurance industry
• Proven proficiency in actuarial concepts/methodologies
• Increasing understanding of general insurance including underwriting policies, claims handling policies and local legislation

Ideally you will be a part qualified actuary with solid understanding of general insurance. Also experience in Emblem and knowledge of SAS and VBA would be an advantage.
