This market leading group seeks an actuary with a keen interest in the investment markets. This is a perfect opportunity for a dynamic actuary to get into a non-traditional role and follow their passion for the investment markets.

Key duties include:

• Implementation and ongoing management of quantitative models
• Pricing and valuation of guaranteed investment products
• Daily monitoring, management and reporting of investment performance and all investment related issues
• Risk management, which includes working closely with the overseas based Investment Team, and managing the hedge portfolio in accordance with agreed strategy
• Being the central point for investment performance relating to customer account portfolios, and managing a reporting regime at customer/institutional levels
• Acting as the APRA interface for Investment/Risk Management
• Putting in place transparent/documented governance processes which meet company and Regulatory requirements

Candidates with previous Life Insurance, Investments or Investment Banking experience are encouraged to apply. The role does require management of very senior stakeholders in the market and is suitable for a confident and exceptional individual. Above market remuneration package will be provided.
