Financial Reporting Actuary

Your principal tasks and responsibilities:
· Produce, analyse and report MCEV.
· Analyse and review VNB calculations.
· Maintain and develop the Prophet models.
· Prepare statutory valuations.
· Support the production of business plans.
· Take an active lead in the actuarial basis review process.
Your profile:
· An actuarial degree or strong progress towards a post degree actuarial qualification is mandatory.
· At least four years experience with the life assurance sector.
· Strong Excel and VBA skills.
· A working knowledge of actuarial software (e.g. Prophet, Moses).
· Attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team and to prioritise tasks.
· Ability to assimilate information and present in a clear and concise format.
· Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential.
