Financial Reporting Analyst – Life – Melbourne

Duties will include all aspects of valuation and reporting including AGAAP / IFRS liabilities, Embedded Value and Capital requirements as well as other duties.
You will be studying Part 1 or Part 2 Actuarial subjects from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, or similar professional body, with between 1 and 5 years of practical experience in the business environment.
Preferably you will have exposure to MoS liability valuations as well as Australian Solvency and Capital Adequacy actuarial standards. Any knowledge of Individual and/or Group Risk Insurance, Australian tax and life insurance legislation will be useful.
In addition, you must display excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills, strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Experience using VBA and PROPHET software is also preferable
