Actuarial Systems Development Team Manager

Excellent opportuniy for a high calibre individual to play a leading role in the development of end to end actuarial reporting systems for a gloabal provier.

The role will encompass:
• Solution design, development and testing of TARDIS changes
• Ensuring production model remains robust, reliable and efficient, meeting current and future demand.
• Facilitating an effective working relationship with the offshore Prophet development team
• Ensuring appropriate governance around changes to Actuarial Systems
• Providing support for release management procedures for Actuarial systems.
• Providing support for business projects and system changes
• Working as equal partner with Actuarial reporting teams and BCIT to agree requirements and continually improve deliveries
• Maintaining documentation of TARDIS architecture and any changes to required audit standards
• Contributing to strategic decisions on actuarial systems architecture

Key Responsibilities
• Overall delivery of end to end actuarial reporting systems developments and change requests.
• Maintain an equal partner relationship with key stakeholders in Actuarial Reporting business Change & Information Technology, Marketing as well as external suppliers
• Ensure ongoing design integrity and quality of the Tardis actuarial reporting system
• Maintain an effective relationship with offshore Prophet development team
• Line management of direct reports within team – project engagement team, Prophet development team & Change Design Team
• Membership on change governance group influencing scope and prioritisation of future change
• Provision of audit information on both TARDIS and Prophet in relation to key Actuarial audit requirements
• Engaging with our change consultants in Finance on any projects which have implications for Actuarial Systems and Reporting.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits.
