Our client, a London based insurer is currently looking for a pricing actuary to join their ever expanding team based in the city of London. The successful candidate will support the enhancement of the pricing processes performed by the actuarial products teams and the delivery of the annual plan for pricing reviews. The scope of the role includes all lines of business for all countries across the European region.

Duties of the role include
• Support the identification and spreading of best practice pricing techniques.
• Development of a robust pricing process.
• Assist the product actuaries with the review of pricing structures.
• Support the Peer-review of pricing work produced by products teams.
• Ensure data used for pricing is complete, accurate, adequate and timely.
• Provide guidance to more junior members of staff.
• Comply with key regulatory and risk management procedures.
• Adherence to European and matrix decision making standards within the authorities provided.

Ideally you will be a nearly/newly qualified actuary with solid understanding of general insurance. Also experience in Emblem and knowledge of SAS and VBA would be an advantage.
