Our client, a London based insurer is currently looking for a Actuarial Pricing Manager to join their ever expanding team based in the city of London. The successful candidate will support the enhancement of the pricing processes performed by the actuarial products teams and the delivery of the annual plan for pricing reviews. The scope of the role includes all lines of business for all countries across the European region.

Duties of the role include:

• Regional responsibility to ensure appropriate actuarial pricing techniques are employed across the team.
• Identification of the best practice pricing techniques across the company. Development of a robust pricing process.
• Assist the product actuaries with the review of pricing structures.
• Support the Peer-review of pricing work produced by products teams.
• Ensure data used for pricing is complete, accurate, adequate and timely.
• Lead the actuarial pricing team. Recruit new members of staff. Train them to ensure they maximise their career potential.
• Comply with key regulatory and risk management procedures.
• Adherence to European and matrix decision making standards within the authorities provided.

The successful candidate will be a qualified actuary with proven people management and leadership skills.
A proven ability to educate non-technical managers on technical areas that enhance their decision-making ability. A proven track record of managing to tight deadlines and priorities.
