Requirements:
Life Reinsurance experience
Excellent knowledge of Solvency II
Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to work within a team
You will undertake the following, amongst others:
• Develop relationship with group companies and external clients.
• Contribute to strategic planning including the setting of the new business objectives as part of the Strategic Business Plan.
• Establish and maintain relationship objectives, develop and implement a proactive service plan to ensure an exceptional value added service to our clients.
• Develop and execute marketing plan in conjunction with the Marketing Actuary and Senior Underwriter to retain and expand book of business.
• Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives in order to be able to understand and respond to client needs.
• Manage the Underwriting Team to ensure the business is written in accordance with agreed procedures. Responsible for performance management and the development and motivation of the Underwriting Team.
