Trainee Actuary – Economic Capital Reporting & Development

You will play a key part in the transition of the Actuarial Reporting team into a post-Solvency II world and therefore these roles present an opportunity to be at the forefront of the Solvency II activity taking place within the UK. Once Solvency II has been implemented, the roles will become part of the end state economic capital reporting team
You will also join the Trainee Actuary Development programme which offers full study support, mentoring, networking groups and rotation around different areas.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
• A part-qualified Actuary with at least 2 years’ experience and making good progress through the exams
• Candidates with relevant experience who have given up the exams will also be considered for Actuarial Advisor roles
• Good knowledge and understanding of actuarial principles, formulae and methodology
• Knowledge of UK Life Insurance Industry and its products
• Understanding of the actuarial reporting measures, systems and processes
• Some experience of working with Prophet or ALS
• Good communication skills
