Actuary – Life Risk Management

Structural change has resulted in a great opportunity within the management team of a highly regarded life company as the Actuary – Life Risk Management
The role involves managing a team undertaking all aspects of valuation and reporting on Life Risk Products including communicating results to an internal audience of senior management and any relevant external parties.
Knowledge required:
You will have a strong technical understanding built up over a number of years of the reporting requirements behind value, capital adequacy and solvency as well as a detailed understanding of the key drivers of product profitability.
Skills & Experience required:
You will be a fully qualified actuary (FIAA or equivalent) with around 5 – 7 years post-qualification experience and be able to clearly demonstrate the following:
* Sound analytical skills
* Broad problem solving capability
* Advanced PC skills understanding of IT environment
* Knowledge of the systems generally used for product valuation work
* Good people management skills and experience
