AVP/Senior Manager – Financial Reporting

This opportunity is effectively the Country Manager to coordinate all financial reporting related tasks associated with a number of regions. Participate in other special projects as assigned by Chief Actuary.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in preparation of communication to senior management and regulators
• Lead a team of 6 people & manage actuarial valuation and financial reporting for assigned countries on IFRS, US GAAP and HK Statutory basis
• Participate in process enhancement, system control and actuarial auditing
• Review EV/VoNB reporting
• Review local submissions such as bonus recommendation and major regulatory developments
• Perform financial projection and analysis
• Special projects including local country investigation

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the life insurance industry
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Strong people management skills
• Strong communication skills
