This is a unique opportunity for a motivated actuarial analyst to fast track their modelling skills development, gain exposure to all aspects of financial reporting including profit reporting and capital management as well as well the potential to work with and learn from experienced actuaries in highly topical areas including risk management and new APRA capital standards.

Reporting to the Capital and Valuation Actuary, this role is responsible for supporting the Capital and Valuation Actuary in performing the statutory and business financial reporting to the life insurance business in a rapid growth phase. This role will also provide support in performing BTFG’s capital management function and actuarial support to the broader project and risk management functions of the Insurance Finance team.

Ideally you will be an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries Australia or most of Part I examinations with 3+ years experience in life insurance or financial services industry. Experience in modelling software such as Prophet highly desirable including DCS.
