Our client is seeking a Corporate & Financial Reporting Actuary to support Corporate Reporting of our Life & Health portfolio and to contribute to the oversight of the lnforce Management of the business.
The role requires a candidate with several years of Life (Re)insurance experience, a strong understanding of Life (Re)insurance risks, strong technical and influencing attributes, and excellent communication skills. The candidate should have an inquisitive and entrepreneurial type mind-set.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the role will span all aspects of Corporate & Financial Reporting and will include the following areas:
Assumptions and Methodology
- Understand and provide oversight on proposed assumptions and methodologies for Solvency II and IFRS17
- Actively contribute or lead discussions on targeted reviews
- Identify and drive change where required
Solvency II Reporting
- Quarterly Review of Technical Provisions
- Regular Supervisory Report ("RSR")
- Solvency and Financial Condition Report ("SFCR")
- Quantitative Reporting Templates
- Actuarial Function Report support as required
IFRS17 Reporting
- Quarterly Review of IFRS17 liabilities
Experience:
Qualified Actuary (5 to 10+ years PQE)
Life or Reinsurance experience
Track record in developing and implementing
